集美大学是福建省“双一流”建设高校、福建省重点建设高校， located in Xiamen， a famous tourism city and economic special zone in China. The university boasts six colleges (the College of Arts and Sciences， the College of Education Science， the College of Economics and Management， the College of Foreign Languages and Culture， the College of Maritime， and the College of Electronic and Information Engineering) and two independent colleges (the Kedagang College and the Shangli College).
With the history of nearly 100 years， the university now has the campus area of 1723 mu. Its main campus locates in the northern part of Jimei District， opposite to the Hulishan Fort. It is only 5km away from the centre of the downtown and 10 minutes drive to Gaoqi International Airport.
